We love welcoming new friends! Guests may attend select gatherings with advance approval, space permitting. A guest fee may apply. Contact us before the gathering so we can make everyone feel welcome.

Yes. Transportation is included with all Golden Gatherings membership packages within our regular service area of Sarasota, Venice, Osprey, and Nokomis.

Golden Gatherings provides social companionship and enjoyable group experiences, but it is not a medical, home-health, or personal-care service. Members must be able to participate safely in a social setting without continuous one-on-one supervision. During the welcome conversation, we will discuss the individual’s needs to determine whether Golden Gatherings is an appropriate fit.

Please contact Golden Gatherings as soon as possible if you need to cancel a scheduled gathering. Cancellation and rescheduling options are subject to the terms of the member’s enrollment agreement.

We make every reasonable effort to select welcoming and accessible locations. Because accessibility varies by venue and activity, members or their family members should tell us about any mobility needs in advance so we can confirm whether a particular gathering is appropriate.

Unless a gathering is specifically advertised as all-inclusive, meals, admission tickets, purchases, and other activity-related expenses are not included in the membership fee. Members will always be informed in advance of any anticipated additional costs.

Gatherings are thoughtfully selected based on member interests, comfort, accessibility, location, and availability. Activities may include social dining, museum visits, scenic outings, shopping, cultural experiences, and relaxed local events. Members receive scheduling information in advance.

Yes. Family members are welcome to contact Golden Gatherings to ask questions or help arrange a complimentary welcome conversation. We respect each member’s privacy and will obtain the appropriate permission before sharing personal or scheduling information.

Golden Gatherings is not an emergency service. In a medical or life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. After emergency assistance has been contacted, please notify Golden Gatherings if the situation affects an upcoming gathering or transportation arrangement.
