Hi, I'm Julie Bennett, founder of Golden Gatherings SRQ.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t

I\u2019ve always had a special place in my heart for older adults. I love their stories, their humor, their perspective, and the wisdom that only comes from a life well lived.

\nI believe some of the best moments in life are the simple ones\u2014great conversation, laughter over lunch, discovering a new place, watching the sunset, or sitting across the table from someone who makes you smile.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t

And I\u2019ve learned something along the way:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t

After spending more than five years working with older adults, I began noticing something.<\/p>\n

Many wonderful people were independent, active, and perfectly capable of enjoying life\u2014but they didn\u2019t always have someone to enjoy it with.<\/p>\n

And sometimes, that makes all the difference.<\/p>\n

A lunch is nicer when someone is sitting across the table.<\/p>\n

A museum is more interesting when there\u2019s someone beside you saying, \u201cCome look at this.\u201d<\/p>\n

A sunset feels a little more special when it\u2019s shared.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Golden Gatherings was created to celebrate this stage of life not as something to simply manage, but as a time that can still be filled with friendship, laughter, discovery, and new memories.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
